We have really been feeling the winter blahs around here lately. The kids want to get out so bad, but have been sick for for the past month or so. We can't wait till spring finally comes in full force.

Mark and I don't usually find time for leisure reading, however, we recently read a book that was so intriguing that we felt we should share it with everyone. It's called "What in the World is Going On?" by Dr David Jeremiah. We highly recommend this book for everyone. It really puts things into perspective about what is going on in todays world through the lens of the Bible and prophesy. It is extremely insightful, educational, somewhat scary, yet comforting. We have a copy if anyone wants to borrow it.

Happy 1st Birthday Hope!!

Well, Hope officially turned one on Thursday the 29th. We still can't beliveve it's been a year already. Mark started calling her "Miss Hope" shortly after she was born and it stuck. We decided to play it up for her birthday. She currently has 8 teeth with two molars coming in (lots of fun!), is starting to walk, loves to take baths, and thinks her big sissy is the coolest. She is a real sweetheart!! We had a family party for her on Thursday night and she decided she liked to wash her hands and hair with the frosting as much as she liked eating it.

Who knew that Bozo the Clown used frosting to get his hair just right?

We had parties this weekend for our families and had a great time. The cake was so much fun to make. Here she is loving her new toys after the party.
